See What our guests are saying about us...
A most beautiful house and relaxing pretty garden snuggled next to the church. Our room was just wonderful with so many extras, such as biscuits and sweets on our tea tray. We are a group of four walkers and on our return our Champagne was kept cold and served in the hosts glasses in their quiet garden. Our cases, as we were walking to Lindisfarne, were kept safe in the cellar for us too. The breakfast choice was huge. This has to be one of the very best Bed and Breakfasts!”
“What a find! We were attending a wedding at Middleton Hall and stayed here for 2 nights. It was just perfect. Annette and Keith were lovely, the room was fab, breakfasts were amazing! Thank you Annette and Keith - you made the week-end for us, not least by driving us back to the wedding venue on the Sunday to collect our car. I could go into lots of detail but suffice to say this is the best and nicest B & B we have ever stayed in.” Sue & Billy Cullercoats
“We stayed at this delightful B and B for the weekend as we were attending a wedding, both Annette and her husband were fantastic, I had forgotten the location of the venue for the wedding, it was no trouble for Annette to track it down for me, the room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, as for the breakfast, amazing. I strongly urge anyone staying to sample the Breakfast Pot, brilliant.” Chris & Julie
“A beautifully restored building with tasteful well decorated rooms. Breakfast, with plenty of choice, was also excellent.” Brian & Sarah
“We have been visiting Northumberland for several years. The Old Vicarage is by far the best B & B we have ever stayed in and we have just returned from our fourth stay. Annette and Keith always make us welcome and nothing is too much trouble. If you want to stay in a lovely home, sleep in a warm comfy bed and wake up to a superb breakfast then this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return.”
“My husband and I stayed here for one night during our walking holiday up the Northumberland coast. We were met by Annette and shown to what we would say was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. it was large, beautifully decorated and Annette had even provided us with
homemade cake! As stated in previous reviews, we simply cannot praise this beautifully restored B & B enough! It is the little touches such as the aforementioned cake and the complimentary local wines which just put The Old Vicarage just that little bit more special. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this B & B to others and will certainly come back.”
